The book takes the form of a scholarly encyclopedia on Qatari folk heritage. It consists of two volumes, each containing 5,000 interactive questions and answers designed to test and enrich readers’ cultural knowledge.

The first volume is dedicated to defining Qatari colloquial terms and is arranged alphabetically. The second volume focuses on proverbs, riddles, group classifications, and word diminutives, all with detailed explanations.

The goal of presenting Qatari folk heritage in this engaging format is to spread awareness of Qatari culture and preserve folk traditions from disappearing—especially since the language is beautiful and deeply expressive. Most of these terms are of Arabic origin but have been adapted and modified through everyday spoken usage.
